About the Association
The Residents Association was started in 2012 by Dave DeBell.

It was created to help residents maintain the road through communal efforts. For many years the quality of the road had depended on the efforts of a few individuals. Despite this the road was frequently in such a state that access to people's homes was difficult.

It was realised that to manage the problem frequent and regular maintenance was needed, but that also needed a reliable source of funding.

Dave DeBell talked to everyone in the road and got enough support to launch the Residents' Association. A modest annual subscription from the majority of the homes in the lane has meant that regular maintenance can be carried out.

Because of the nature of the road surface, the lack of drainage, and the behaviour of some drivers it is always going to be difficult to keep it in good condition but the situation is very much improved compared to the past.

If you would like to help with maintaining the road or helping with social events by giving a few hours a couple of times a year please contact us and we will let you know when we need any help.
